Birmingham to Heart of Wales
Take A456 and A49 to Leominster or
Take M5 to Worcester and A44 to Leominster
Continue on A44 through Leominster bearing left at Barons Cross
At crossroads turn right on A44 signposted Rhayader (carry straight on for Brecon)
Follow A44 to Forest Inn then turn left onto A481 (signposted Builth Wells)
Follow A481 to junction with A483 then turn left for Builth Wells and turn right for Llandrindod Wells
London / South West – Heart of Wales
Take the M4 and exit at Junction 24 (signposted Newport, Monmouth) then at Coldra Roundabout take 4th exit onto A449 (signposted the Midlands(M50), Monmouth)
After 13 miles branch left onto the A40 (signposted Abergavenny)
Travel through Abergavenny following the A40 (signposted Brecon)
Carry on the A40 through Crickhowell
Two miles past Crickhowell:
For Brecon follow A40 to Brecon;
For Builth Wells and Llandrindod Wells Turn right onto A479 and follow signs for Builth Wells
On reaching Builth Wells turn right onto A470 and follow signs to Llandrindod Wells (A483)
Fishguard to Heart of Wales
From Fishguard take A40 to Haverfordwest, St Clears and Carmarthen
At roundabout take exit to A40 (signposted Llandeilo)
Follow A40 past Llandeilo to Llandovery (continue on A40 to Brecon)
On entering Llandovery go over level crossing and immediately turn left onto A483 (signposted Builth Wells)
Follow A483 to Builth Wells and then Llandrindod Wells
Chester to Heart of Wales
Follow A483/A5 to Oswestry, Welshpool and Newtown
At traffic signals branch left on A483 (signposted Llandrindod Wells)
Follow A483 to Llandrindod Wells and Builth Wells.
For Brecon take A470 from Builth Wells to Brecon.
Cardiff to Heart of Wales
From Cardiff take the A470 via Merthyr Tydfil to Brecon and Builth Wells
In Builth Wells take A483 to Llandrindod Wells
